RACI Matrix – Additional Guidelines
  • Minimize “R”s . Too many “R”s may cause bottlenecks in a specific task.
  • Limit to only one ‘A’ . Multiple ‘A’s may cause confusion as to who is in charged and accountable.
  • Minimum ‘C’s . Too many ‘C’s may cause bottlenecks in a specific task. However, make sure all necessary stakeholders are consulted.
  • Identify all ‘I’s . Ensure all stakeholders who need to be kept informed are identified so that related follow up tasks can be carried out.
